Job Description

As a Remote CAM Input/Detailer, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed computer-aided designs for construction projects. This role involves working with various software tools such as Revit and Autodesk Fabrication CADmep to create CAM files and annotate drawings.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in BIM or VDC with an emphasis in HVAC or Mechanical, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter assigned quotes and orders into CAMduct and Epicor
  • Create CAM files from Revit or Autodesk Fabrication CADmep
  • Annotate drawings in Revit or Autodesk Fabrication CADmep
  • Complete, accurate and on time processing of assigned work
  • Ensure duct construction methods meet customer specifications and industry standards
  • Identify incomplete information and verify with customer
  • Communicate with customers through phone, email, and support desk software
  • Communicate with internal team
  • Maintain status of tickets in Freshdesk
Requirements

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in BIM or VDC with an emphasis in HVAC or Mechanical
  • Proficiency in Revit is required
  • Proficiency in Autodesk products (ESTmep, CADmep, CAMduct) is preferred

Skills & Knowledge Required:

  • Proficiently use Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis on Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Build and maintain rapport with customers
  • Ability to resolve conflicts in a professional manner and awareness when to engage supervisor if necessary
  • Work collaboratively and demonstrate commitment to get the job done
  • Self-motivate to do what needs to be done
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Able to effectively present information and respond to questions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
