Job Title: Facade Designer and Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Facades Specialist with hands-on experience in facade detailing, quantity takeoffs, and design development.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in preparing detailed shop drawings, reviewing architectural and structural plans, and utilizing specialized façade software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate and comprehensive shop drawings for windows, curtain walls, and panel systems
  • Conduct material and quantity takeoffs by reviewing plans and creating summaries in Excel/PDF
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to develop and revise designs and calculations
  • Ensure drawings meet applicable codes, standards, and project specifications
  • Utilize Logikal, AutoCAD, and Excel to complete design and estimation tasks efficiently

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in facade design, including curtain walls, windows, and cladding systems
  • Skilled in preparing detailed shop drawings and takeoff summaries
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Logikal Software, and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong understanding of construction documents and architectural drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
