Senior Tax Accountant Position

We seek a seasoned Senior Tax Accountant to lead our team in navigating Australian tax laws and regulations. As a key member, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing income tax returns for various entities, ensuring full compliance with ATO requirements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the preparation and review of individual, company, partnership, and trust tax returns
  • Lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)
  • Implement and maintain robust processes to guarantee compliance with taxation laws and regulations
  • Provide expert advice on tax planning, forecasting, and strategy development
  • Evaluate work papers and financial statements for accuracy and completeness
  • Coordinate trust distributions, Division 7A, and FBT as applicable
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients through effective communication on tax matters and ATO queries
  • Maintain knowledge of tax law changes and industry developments to ensure best practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in Australian taxation
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills for client communication
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote setting
