Job Title: Operations Manager

A senior operations manager is needed to oversee the performance and results of multiple related units. This role provides leadership to managers, supervisors and/or professional staff in managing day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure profitable revenue growth of program(s); responsible for profitability including revenue, margins, billing, seat utilization and retention.
  • Maintain and grow a proficient training program with staff development and effective employee relation/recognition programs.
  • Lead direct reports and their associates by selecting, training, developing, and managing performance; planning and assigning work according to organizational policies and applicable legal requirements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports to ensure consistent administration of company policies and standards; define and implement corrective actions as needed to meet operational performance goals.
  • Analyze and maintain all Client Service Level Agreements; implement improvement plans when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with active contracts.
  • Oversee client relationships by facilitating open communications, understanding client perspectives/expectations, and monitoring client satisfaction.
  • Partner with Business Development to leverage and expand new business from clients.
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones with direct reports to review individual performance, team performance, and offer ongoing developmental support.
  • Enhance employee engagement to create a positive work environment by resolving employee relations issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to review information received from operational support functions - Training, HR, Quality, WFM, TA - and partner to define action plans that resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with strategic vendors to facilitate open communications, understand changing technologies, and stay up-to-date on industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree or higher preferred, with over 10 years of experience and 2-4 years of progressive management experience.
  • Ability to analyze and improve work processes, establish a course of action for self and others to accomplish specific goals.
  • Ability to coach and develop action plans that maximize performance and provide effective feedback.
  • Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing business needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present information to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented business environment.
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and provide direction to a team of employees.
  • Initiative and ownership focus on continuous improvement.
  • Customer service disposition and sense of professionalism.
