Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Jewelry Production Manager to oversee the end-to-end manufacturing and production process of fine or fashion jewelry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily production operations, ensuring quality control and timely order fulfillment
  • Manage production schedules, allocate workloads, and track progress across internal teams and external manufacturers
  • Coordinate with designers, CAD teams, bench jewelers, casters, and stone setters to bring designs to life
  • Source and manage relationships with material suppliers and subcontractors (casting, polishing, plating, etc.)
  • Maintain detailed production documentation including BOMs (Bill of Materials), cost sheets, and timelines
  • Implement and enforce quality control standards across all stages of production
  • Forecast inventory needs and ensure all necessary materials (metals, stones, findings) are procured on time
  • Troubleshoot production issues, minimize delays, and optimize efficiency and cost
  • Collaborate with sales, merchandising, and logistics teams to align production with customer demand and seasonal launches
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in jewelry production or manufacturing management
  • Familiarity with jewelry materials, processes (casting, stone setting, polishing), and supply chain
  • Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM and jewelry design software
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for craftsmanship and quality
  • Experience communicating with factory staff
  • Understanding of how to read a CAD file
  • Knowledge of diamonds
