We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Supervisor to oversee our financial transactions and ensure accuracy in all company's accounting tasks.

About the Position

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills and an in-depth knowledge of accounting principles to efficiently analyze financial reports and forecasts. They should also have experience in managing accountants and junior analysts.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Transaction Oversight: Review and manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Financial Data Analysis: Analyze financial data and create reports on financial status based on the analysis results.
  • Accounting Reporting: Create timely and accurate accounting reports and present them to executives and senior management.
  • Process Improvement: Develop recommendations to optimize accounting systems and procedures and detect inaccuracies.
  • Supervision: Supervise accounting assistants and bookkeepers, plan their work, and assign tasks.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Participate in forecasting and financial standards setting processes and assist in budget preparation.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience working as a Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, Chief or Senior Accountant.
  • Skills: Profound experience with typical accounting procedures, general ledger functions, and month-end/year-end close process.
  • Certifications: Good knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and proficiency in accounting software packages such as FreshBooks and QuickBooks.
  • Education: BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant certifications such as CMA or CPA.
