Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Operations Specialist to join our finance team remotely.
This role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations for multiple portfolio companies across various industries.
- Maintain full-cycle financial operations for multiple portfolio companies across various industries.
- Record journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage AP/AR, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
- Assist with budget preparation, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Support audits and tax preparation processes in coordination with external auditors and tax advisors.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or progress toward CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-client or multi-entity environment.
- Proficiency with NetSuite ERP required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in a private equity or investment firm environment.
- Familiarity with consolidations and intercompany transactions.
- Advanced Excel skills.
