Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing key accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle operations of all accounting functions, including disbursements, receipts, accruals, general journals, etc.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports/statements in a timely manner.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations, related party transaction reconciliations, and other ad hoc reconciliations as required.
  • Prepare weekly cash position reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all reporting requirements (SEC, BIR, and other regulatory bodies) according to current guidelines, rules, and regulations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address financial inquiries and support operational needs.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
  • At least three (3) years of professional experience in accounting.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Accounting Specialist or similar accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other relevant applications.
  • Knowledgeable in ERP accounting systems, specifically XERO.
  • Willing to work onsite at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
