Achieving Financial Excellence Specialist

About the Role:

This position requires a skilled and experienced professional to oversee financial transactions, ensure timely payment of invoices, and maintain accurate financial records.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and processes, with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process and review vendor invoices for accuracy and approval.
  2. Ensure timely payment of invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
  3. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
  4. Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting processes.
  5. Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to address inquiries and issues.
  6. Support the implementation and maintenance of accounts payable systems and processes.
  7. Perform data entry and maintain organized filing systems.
  8. Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation as required.
  9. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline accounts payable processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
