Effective Team Leadership is crucial in delivering high-quality projects and ensuring the timely upkeep of applications and platforms.

This role requires a deep understanding of how the unit works, with the ability to orchestrate across all units for seamless delivery. Effective escalation and resolution management are also key responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume full accountability for project delivery within the assigned unit, collaborating closely with other teams as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Enforce adherence to the IT Service Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) and Governance framework.
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of the business unit's strategic direction and align it with the overall organizational architecture.
  • Provide necessary support to the Project Investment Proposal (PIP) team in delivering approved business cases and successful delivery managers.
  • Manage capacity planning and ensure an appropriate staffing level in each team.
  • Ensure competency development among delivery managers and architects through relevant training and enablement sessions.
  • IDentify and optimize resource utilization across delivery teams within the unit and potentially beyond.
  • Timely escalate issues related to delivery, capacity, or individual performance.
  • Oversight of all vendors and solution providers managed by the unit.
  • Act as the primary point of escalation for delivery team leads and team members.
  • Support issue resolutions and risk management during project execution.
  • Ensure the team receives necessary support for competency development through training and enablement sessions.
  • Conduct performance reviews directly for delivery managers, architects, and team leads.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in application delivery, with at least 10 years specializing in focus areas for the unit.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Ortigas.
