As a Shipping Solutions Coordinator, you will work closely with carriers to negotiate rates and secure trucking capacity for customer-tendered loads.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Negotiating rates with carriers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolving any shipping issues that may arise.
  • Collaborating with the Business Development Team and Pricing Analyst to provide seamless service delivery throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Preparing and sending accurate quotations to customers upon receiving new leads.
  • Confirming quotes with customers, booking shipments accurately, and conducting quality assurance checks to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of market rates and trends in the shipping industry to excel in your role.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with carriers, which is essential for effective partnerships.
  • Focusing on securing the right carrier at the right price at the right time to ensure timely delivery of customer goods.
  • Developing and growing relationships with carriers and other transportation companies.

To succeed in this role, you should:

  • Believe in the importance of your work.
  • Be objective-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Be proactive and efficient in handling multiple tasks.
  • Hold excellent English skills (B2+ or higher preferred).
  • Have relevant education in International Business, Business Administration, or Logistics-related fields.
  • Hold at least one year of experience in Logistics, Carrier Sales, shipment booking, and tracking.
  • Be flexible and willing to adapt to different schedules, including night shifts, following the American calendar.
  • Work remotely from anywhere.
