Job Title: Rent Collector

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately track and monitor rental payments via software.
  • Effectively communicate with tenants regarding late payments through phone calls, texts, emails, or written notices.
  • Maintain detailed records of communications and payment arrangements for accurate reporting and analysis.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing and posting of payments.
  • Coordinate scheduling appointments for leasing, maintenance, inspections, and renewals with various stakeholders including property managers, maintenance teams, and tenants.
  • Prepare and send rent reminders, notices, and payment confirmations in a professional manner.
  • Generate reports on rent collection and delinquencies to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in property management, rent collection, or scheduling is required.
  • Proficiency with relevant software is essential for success in this role.
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills are necessary for effective tenant relations.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities are critical for meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Professional demeanor and etiquette when interacting with tenants and other stakeholders is expected.
  • Familiarity with landlord/tenant laws and fair housing regulations is beneficial but not mandatory.
Work Arrangements:

The ideal candidate will work remotely with a flexible schedule that may include night shifts as needed to meet business objectives.
