We're seeking a skilled Revenue Accounting Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in revenue accounting, with a strong understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606. They will be responsible for reviewing and managing revenue recording processes, reconciling revenue accounts, and owning activities related to sales tax.

This is a remote role that requires the ability to work asynchronously as part of a global team. The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, and be able to take ownership, multi-task, and solve problems effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Review and manage revenue recording processes, including reconciliations of revenue accounts
  • Own activities related to sales tax, including reconciliation of payments, accrual JE posting, and reviewing returns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to oversee revenue recognition processes using data build tools
  • Maintain systems integrations between Stripe, NetSuite, Salesforce, Avalara, Hex, and validate integrated data before month-end close
Requirements
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in revenue accounting
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to take ownership, multi-task, and solve problems effectively
