Medical Billing Specialist

We seek a skilled Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. This role supports revenue cycle management in the US healthcare sector, utilizing industry-standard billing software to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Audit and verify patient accounts for accurate postings of medical charges, payments, and journal entries
  • Process and manage claims with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, as well as patient registration data
  • Prepare and transmit claims using specialized billing software
  • Proactively follow up on unpaid claims and research denied claims for maximum reimbursement
Required Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Medical Biller with extensive hands-on experience using industry-standard billing software/EMR systems
  • Thorough understanding of US healthcare insurance guidelines and medical billing best practices
  • Ability to perform eligibility and benefit verification
