The role of a Financial Risk Analyst involves assessing client creditworthiness through the analysis of financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data.

Responsibilities include preparing detailed credit analyses and risk assessments for new and existing clients, as well as collaborating with sales, legal, and finance teams to structure deals that align with company risk tolerance.

Maintaining accurate records of credit evaluations and decisions is also crucial in this position.

To be successful, a strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis is necessary, as well as familiarity with credit scoring systems and risk assessment tools.

This individual must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.

A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, along with 3+ years of experience in credit analysis, preferably within the real estate industry, is preferred.

An MBA or CPA can also be advantageous.

This professional will work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, supporting underwriting processes for property acquisitions, leases, and financing arrangements.

Staying current with industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes affecting credit risk is essential.

This individual will recommend credit limits and terms based on risk analysis and monitor client portfolios to identify potential credit risks or deteriorating financial conditions.

The ideal candidate will have graduated cum laude or better from university and possess a strong ability to work independently.
