We are seeking a Senior Tax Professional to lead and oversee the tax team, ensuring high-quality service to clients while fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

This role is responsible for managing the tax team, providing technical expertise, and overseeing the preparation of tax returns. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations.

  • Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and trust returns using advanced tax software.
  • Review and analyze tax returns prepared by team members.
  • Provide tax planning insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Manage status tracking and completion of open items such as tax issues with government agencies.
  • Manage engagement scope, deadlines, and budgets.
  • Supervise and train tax accountants.
  • Communicate with clients regarding complex issues and deliverables.
  • Identify and resolve technical tax issues, involving senior management when necessary.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A CPA license.
  • A Master's degree in Taxation or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax, including review responsibilities.
  • Proficiency with advanced tax software and tools.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple engagements while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
