Senior Tax Specialist

The role of a Senior Tax Accountant involves managing key aspects of clients' tax compliance, including individual and business income tax returns. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and lodging various tax-related documents, such as activity statements and fringe benefits tax returns.
This position requires the ability to work with different accounting systems, including Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks. The candidate must also have experience in payroll processing and bookkeeping.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, the candidate should have:
- A strong understanding of Australian taxation laws and regulations;
- Experience in individual, partnership, trust, and company compliance;
- Knowledge of SMSF compliance is an added advantage;
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
- Ability to learn new systems and tools as needed.
