About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding position for an experienced tax professional seeking to advance their career. We are looking for someone who can review complex tax returns, advise clients with clarity, and mentor others towards success.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience as a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Preparer, along with excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.

Key responsibilities include preparing, reviewing, and overseeing the preparation of individual and business tax returns, communicating directly with clients, and developing and implementing tax strategies and planning for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, Review, and Oversee Tax Returns: Prepare, review, and oversee the preparation of individual and business tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Client Communication: Communicate directly with clients to clarify information and deliver expert tax guidance, responding to questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Tax Strategies and Planning: Develop and implement tax strategies and planning for clients, providing personalized advice and guidance to help them achieve their financial goals.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate filings, working together to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes as needed.
  • Professional Development: Participate in and help lead an Enrolled Agent (EA) study group, staying up-to-date on the latest tax laws and regulations and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; CPA is a plus.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Preparer.
  • Skill Set: Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills, familiarity with tax planning and explaining strategies in simple terms.
