Financial Operations Specialist

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in accounts payable and a solid understanding of procure to pay finance and accounting.

The Financial Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable process to ensure timely and accurate payments. This includes collaborating with procurement and finance teams to streamline procure to pay processes, analyzing and resolving discrepancies in invoices and payments, and implementing best practices in accounts payable to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators related to accounts payable activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all payable transactions, and providing support and guidance to junior team members in accounts payable processes.

In addition, the Financial Operations Specialist will utilize financial software to automate and improve accounts payable workflows, conduct regular audits of accounts payable records to ensure data integrity, communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues, and develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to facilitate smooth transactions.

Requirements:

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in accounts payable processes and financial software.
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Show excellent communication skills for effective vendor and stakeholder interactions.
  • Have a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
