Job Overview

The role of a Freight Operations Coordinator is pivotal in enabling a logistics company to achieve its growth objectives.

As a remote operations specialist, the primary mission is to deliver exceptional customer service for US clients.

This position involves overseeing customer shipments from the point of order to delivery, fostering collaboration with various teams such as Customer Success Managers, Sales, Pricing, and Procurement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure seamless customer experience by guaranteeing on-time shipment and effective exception handling.
  • Manage the end-to-end movement of client products through the network, encompassing both imports and exports, including intermodal movements.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of customers' requirements by familiarizing oneself with their standard operating procedures (SOP).
  • Respond promptly to customer escalations, working closely with customer success managers to resolve issues efficiently and maintain operational smoothness at origin and destination.
  • Maintain high standards of shipment and data metrics consistent with customer expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to react swiftly while maintaining focus and attention to detail.
  • Adaptability in embracing change management - short-term, medium-term, and long-term.
