Job Responsibilities- Email Management: Timely responses and follow-ups are ensured as we manage and organize company email inboxes.
- Intake Calls: We handle intake calls from patients, families, and referral sources with professionalism and empathy.
- Insurance Verification: Assistance is provided with insurance verification, prior authorizations, and documentation support.
- Referral Coordination: Referrals from hospitals, clinics, and case managers are coordinated and processed effectively.
- Care Coordination: Seamless care coordination is ensured through effective communication with case managers, patients, and internal staff.
- Technology Support: RingCentral is used for call management and communication, and accurate records and documentation are maintained within our CRM system and Alora (EMR software).
- Administrative Tasks: The home health team is supported with scheduling, data entry, and administrative tasks as needed.
- Confidentiality and Compliance: Confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations are upheld.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Virtual Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or in a healthcare-related role is required.
- Insurance Knowledge: Familiarity with insurance processes, referrals, and prior authorizations in healthcare is necessary.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with RingCentral, CRM platforms, and Alora (or similar EMR software) is essential.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail are required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- Multitasking: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a remote setting is required.
