Job Description

The Transport Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of transportation logistics, including truck deployment, route dispatching and monitoring. The role requires strong analytical skills to forecast and plan effectively, as well as effective communication skills to collaborate and coordinate with internal teams, truckers, and drivers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy trucks, manage routes, and monitor vehicle whereabouts based on scheduled routes.
  • Coordinate with dispatchers, drivers, and other stakeholders for the execution of route assignments.
  • Develop and execute optimized route schedules considering distance, time, and requirements.
  • Perform simulations and models for productivity improvement and generate measurable reports to drive performance to excellence.
  • Support cost-efficient and effective projects for overall business growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in transportation logistics, with a focus on linehaul operations being a plus.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to forecast and plan effectively.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and coordinate with internal teams, truckers, and drivers.
