Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of the Operations department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient deployment and management of transportation resources.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate truck deployments and routes for optimal productivity and efficiency
  • Develop and implement optimized route schedules considering factors such as distance, time, and requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of truck whereabouts and attendance
  • Collaborate with dispatchers, drivers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of route assignments
  • Conduct simulations and models to improve productivity and identify areas for cost savings
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in transportation logistics, with a focus on linehaul operations
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to forecast and plan effectively
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in using logistics software and real-time tracking tools
