Business Development Manager - Financial Services

This role is responsible for developing and maintaining a network of prospective clients and referrals. You will be required to plan and schedule calls/visits, conduct regular client interactions to identify investment needs and service requirements, and explore opportunities for growth.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the financial services industry, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Soliciting new accounts and deepening existing relationships to achieve targeted sales volume or assets under management (AUM) and revenues/income for the organization.
  • Developing and maintaining a good network of prospective clients and referrals.
  • Conducting regular client calls and visits to identify clients' investment needs and service requirements and to also explore other opportunities for growth.
  • Establishing clients' investment needs profile, anticipating clients' needs, and creating opportunities to sell more products and services.
  • Ensuring proper, complete, and regular up-to-date client information as required in account opening documents, risk profile, and other transaction documentations.
  • Conducting sales coaching sessions for relationship associates to ensure they are equipped to market products.
  • Providing efficient and professional account/relationship management and financial advisory services to ensure clients' loyalty and continued patronage.
Requirements
  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • At least 4 years of experience in business development or a related field.
