Account Management Lead

This is a key role in the team that will be responsible for overseeing the collection of outstanding debt from clients and ensuring that all revenue and invoice files are reconciled by month end deadlines.

The successful candidate will have experience in managing cash collection and aged debt, with a strong understanding of financial processes and systems.

They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing teams and driving results, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the accounts receivable team, including cash collection and reconciliation of revenue and invoices
  • Ensure accurate allocation of cash received and timely posting of receipts into the Oracle AR sub-ledger
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure effective communication and issue resolution
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy of financial processes
  • Lead by example and promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the team

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing cash collection and aged debt in a corporate environment
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and systems, including ERP applications such as Oracle AR
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to analyze problems and propose remedies, with a focus on delivering high-quality work
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of Oracle AR module and experience working in a similar role would be advantageous
