We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Receivables Specialist.

About the Role:

The Receivables Specialist will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accounts Receivable Management: Utilize QuickBooks to manage accounts receivable and track payment records.
  2. Payment Processing: Handle incoming payments, reconciling and applying them accurately within the system.
  3. Client Communication: Contact clients to follow up on overdue invoices and resolve any payment disputes.
  4. Invoicing and Reporting: Prepare and issue invoices, credit memos, and account statements. Generate and analyze reports related to accounts receivable and collection efforts.
  5. Process Improvement: Assist in improving collection processes and implementing effective techniques.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable and collections.
  2. Technical Skills: Expertise in QuickBooks is required.
  3. Knowledge: Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  4. Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  5. Work Style: Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  6. Software Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
