Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent Banking Service Associate to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Relationship Manager in implementing loan transactions and customer servicing functions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Requesting checks with other departments (e.g. appraisal, title verification, trade checking, business checking) and collating results for evaluation by the RM/AO.
  • Preparing documents needed to implement credit facilities.
  • Monitoring submission of document and insurance deficiencies by clients to ensure completeness of requirements.
  • Maintaining orderly files of documents for each account to facilitate monitoring.
  • Preparing special requests of clients such as Statement of Account, amortization schedules, interest payments, etc.
  • Preparing various requests to all units such as but not limited to partial release of collaterals, collateral substitution, application/re-application of payments, instruction sheets, implementing memos, etc.
  • Monitoring loan repricing and maturity dates of clients managed by RM/AO through reports from mainframe systems.
  • Servicing loan and trade transactions of clients and coordinating with booking unit and/or client to ensure implementation of a loan or trade transactions.
  • Preparing instruction sheets on loan or trade transactions for approval by RM/AO.
  • Typing promissory notes.
  • Reviewing and sending billing statements to clients and ensuring that interest and principal amortizations due are collected and paid on time.
  • Preparing reports/providing information required by RM/AO, Market Head, Team Head, and Division Head regarding accounts managed.
  • Performing other administrative work as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Graduate of a 4-year Bachelor's/College Degree, related to Business, Banking, or Finance is preferred.

Adept in MS Office systems and possessing good interpersonal relationship, oral and written communication skills, and service-oriented attitude are highly valued.
