Job Title: Business Development Representative

As a key member of our team, the Hybrid Business Development Representative will play a critical role in driving revenue growth through lead generation and qualification. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven individual to leverage their skills in communication, negotiation, and problem-solving to drive business success.

This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and relationship-building skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new business opportunities across North America, working closely with our Sales teams to convert leads into sales.

  • Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, and social media engagement.
  • Qualification and Prioritization: Qualify leads based on their potential value and prioritize them according to their likelihood of conversion.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at enterprise accounts, building trust and credibility through effective communication and solution-based selling.
  • Account Research: Conduct thorough research on target accounts to identify key buyer roles, understand pain points, and develop personalized solutions to address their needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Sales teams to ensure seamless handoffs and optimize lead conversions.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of BANT/MEDD(P)ICC qualification frameworks, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly qualified lead quotas.
  • Navigate complex conversation flows to uncover business needs and position Cofense products and services as compelling solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of activity and outcomes in CRM systems.
  • Communicate summarized key findings to Sales and Marketing teams to inform solution positioning and marketing communications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent level of proven field experience.
  • 1-2 years prior lead generation experience (cyber-security experience preferred but not required).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of BANT/MEDD(P)ICC qualification frameworks.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
