Job Overview

We're seeking a Mental Health Specialist to join our team and provide critical support to individuals in need. Our organization is dedicated to making health accessible to every person worldwide.

The Role

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of helplines and providing high-quality mental health support to our customers. This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and a proactive approach to helping clients in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Helpline Response: Ensure hotlines and helplines are properly staffed, including during line surges and providing call, text, and chat support when necessary.
  • Quality and Management: Maintain standards for effectiveness with callers, update scripts as needed, and utilize best practices for all scenarios.
  • Internal Engagement: Communicate effectively with assigned stakeholders and internal teams through various channels.
  • Organization and Tracking: Utilize systems to track client information and communicate with them efficiently.
  • Care Coordination: Ensure patients receive proper follow-up care by conducting regular triage and check-ins.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the rest of the operations team and fellow specialists to address clients' needs effectively.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should ideally have:

  • At least 2-4 years of experience working as a helpline responder.
  • Completed training in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) or its equivalent.
  • Certification in Psychological First Aid and Suicide Prevention.
  • A Master's degree in Psychology is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Tagalog.
  • Reliability and professionalism at all times.
  • Openness to feedback and a willingness to improve and develop.
  • Technical know-how, preferably with Zoom, for meetings and online courses.
