Nurse Triage Specialist

A Nurse Triage Specialist is required to provide clinical contact for patients in a virtual behavioral health program.
This role will be responsible for scheduling appointments, assisting with prescription refills, assessing patient symptoms, determining urgency, documenting interactions, and directing patients to the appropriate level of care.
About the Role- Conduct web and voice-based triage assessments for mental health and psychiatric patients
- Utilize clinical judgment to determine next steps (e.g., schedule, escalate, refer)
- Document encounters accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system
- Follow established clinical protocols and escalation pathways
- Active nursing license
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in triage, case management, or behavioral health
- Strong verbal communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable working in a voice-based, remote environment
