Role Overview

The Contact Center Collections Representative role is a key position within our organization.

About the Job

This role involves communicating with customers to resolve outstanding accounts, negotiate payment plans and settlements in accordance with established policies, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Establishing contact with customers to discuss overdue payments and proposed payment arrangements.
  • Negotiating payment terms that meet company standards.
  • Maintaining detailed records of all interactions and updates customer accounts accordingly.
  • Following up on any unfulfilled commitments and maintaining consistent communication with debtors.
  • Complying with regulatory requirements and upholding confidentiality.
  • Achieving daily and monthly collection targets, as well as meeting call quality standards.
  • Handling disputes and referring complex cases to relevant departments for further action.
Requirements

Candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent education; additional certifications are advantageous.
  • 1–2 years of experience in collections or a similar contact center role.
  • Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • The ability to remain composed under pressure and maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Familiarity with debt collection laws and practices.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish is highly valued.
