Remote E-commerce Operations Specialist

This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations on Shopify and Amazon, including product listings, inventory updates, pricing adjustments, and order processing to ensure smooth online sales performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • E-commerce Platform Management: Ensure seamless operations on Shopify and Amazon platforms.
  • Social Media & Funnel Marketing Support: Assist in building and optimizing marketing funnels and integrating campaigns with social media platforms.
  • Startup Operations Support: Work closely with the founder to set up and streamline business processes for a coffee brand and distribution arm.
  • Financial Analysis: Maintain accurate sales, expense, and revenue records; reconcile transactions; and support basic financial reporting tasks.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate across multiple operational areas to ensure cohesive brand execution.
  • Continuous Learning: Rapidly learn new tools, processes, and strategies to support business growth in a multifaceted environment.
Requirements
  • Experience Level: Minimum 2.5-5 years of hands-on experience in e-commerce operations, preferably within the coffee, beverage, or food & beverage industry.
  • Platform Expertise: Proven proficiency in managing Shopify and Amazon Seller Central, including familiarity with product upload, optimization, and reporting tools.
  • Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of social media marketing strategies, funnel building, and digital advertising techniques.
  • Financial Acumen: Basic to intermediate bookkeeping skills with the ability to manage financial records and reconcile accounts.
  • Adaptability: Strong ability to quickly learn and apply new skills across different operational areas in a startup environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional time management, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
