Job Title: Performance Optimization Specialist

We're seeking an experienced professional to spearhead the development of AI performance benchmarks.

This role requires strong ownership of metrics and a proven track record in systems, infra, or performance engineering. The ideal candidate should be fluent in Python and have experience working across full-stack and backend services.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement agent evaluation pipelines that benchmark AI capabilities across real-world enterprise use cases
  • Benchmark AI models for latency, safety, cost-efficiency, and user-perceived quality
  • Create search- and retrieval-oriented benchmarks, including multilingual query handling, annotation-aware scoring, and context relevance
  • Partner with AI and infra teams to instrument models and agents with detailed telemetry for outcome-based evaluation

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of experience in systems, infra, or performance engineering roles
  • Strong proficiency in Python
  • Experience working across full-stack and backend services
  • Prior experience contributing to academic or open-source benchmarking projects is highly valued
