Procurement Specialist Role

This is a key role within our organization that involves managing vendor relationships, ensuring data accuracy, and coordinating logistics.

  • Vendor & Purchase Order Management: Overseeing supplier communication, tracking purchase orders, and updating PO changes in our inventory system.
  • Data Accuracy & System Checks: Verifying PO details match across all platforms, identifying discrepancies, reviewing receipts to confirm goods delivered match the order, and flagging and resolving shortages or unresolved items.
  • Inventory Reporting & Tracking: Generating weekly inventory reports, highlighting materials pending release, identifying and reporting discrepancies, monitoring materials in quarantine or pending transfer, and collaborating with warehouse and receiving teams to resolve inventory concerns.
  • Logistics Coordination: Partnering with warehouse and receiving teams to ensure smooth movement of goods, communicating with third-party logistics providers to schedule and confirm product pickups, and providing relevant pickup details to finalize truck scheduling and shipping labels.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, troubleshoot challenges, and think creatively to find solutions. They will also have strong communication skills, be comfortable learning and working with ERP systems, procurement platforms, and inventory tracking tools, and be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
