Network Operations Center (NOC) Professional

We seek a highly skilled and experienced IT professional to join our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT management, user support, and cybersecurity.

This role involves resolving alerts and requests related to user devices, cloud technologies, and network troubleshooting. Effective communication with vendors and customers is crucial as a point of contact for maintenance, repair, and patch remediation.

The NOC Engineer will be responsible for documenting and maintaining knowledge base articles, new content, and content improvements. Additionally, they will recommend and improve processes to drive better outcomes.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of general IT experience, primarily in server, infrastructure support, and networking/circuits.
  • Minimum 1 year of NOC experience, including knowledge of ITIL-based Service Operations.
  • Strong passion for delivering consistently positive experiences to customers.
  • A robust diagnostics toolkit; approaches an incident with logic, considering time spent on a given issue.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience working in an MSP/Consultancy environment.
  • Proficiency in related tools such as OpsGenie, PageDuty, PRTG; scripting with PowerShell, Automate Script, and Azure Functions.
  • Strong knowledge around RMM tools like ConnectWise Automate, SolarWinds, Nagios, CloudWatch, or Zabbix.
