Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure across the organization.

You will work closely with global teams to support VPNs, SD-WAN, and cloud connectivity. Additionally, you will implement and manage security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and SIEM platforms.

The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering and cybersecurity roles, preferably in a manufacturing or regulated industry.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systems.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
  • Collaborate with global teams to support VPNs, SD-WAN, and cloud connectivity.
  • Implement and manage security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and SIEM platforms.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols.
  • Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar network/security platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS) and hybrid infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
