Cybersecurity Operations Engineer (SOC) (Internal title: Engineer, Security Operations Center)

Are you passionate about defending organizations from cyber threats? Join our global Security Operations Center (SOC) team as a Cybersecurity Operations Engineer (internally titled Engineer, Security Operations Center), where you'll play a critical role in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents that impact our worldwide operations.

This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced security tools, collaborate with global teams, and grow your cybersecurity expertise in a dynamic global environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze security systems and logs to proactively detect potential threats
  • Respond to alerts by triaging, investigating, and escalating incidents as necessary
  • Conduct forensic analysis: log correlation, parsing, and auditing
  • Support incident response and remediation efforts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen security controls
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of security tools, scripts, and automation
  • Continuously improve detection and monitoring capabilities while staying current with evolving threats and technologies

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Security Operations or Security Engineering role
  • Solid understanding of security solutions: Web Proxy, NAC, Firewalls, Encryption, 2FA, Anti-Spam/Antivirus/Antimalware, IPS, and DLP
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM monitoring, log analysis, and network traffic analysis
  • Strong background in forensics: log correlation, parsing, and auditing
  • Proficiency in incident response and threat hunting
  • Exposure to Endpoint Security/EDR, DLP, Cloud Security, or SOAR is an advantage
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Willing to work on rotating shifts and amenable to a hybrid setup (3x onsite per week)
