**Job Title:** Billing Support Specialist

About the Role

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide effective support for billing and claims-related inquiries. This involves reviewing and analyzing tickets, researching issues, and collaborating with internal departments and external vendors to resolve problems.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve service level goals and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage help desk tickets and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to resolve complex billing and claims-related issues.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to investigate and resolve issues.
  • Track and manage ticket status updates and communicate with customers and stakeholders as needed.
  • Provide support for account/patient claim escalations, related grievances, and billing/reimbursement/coding inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all interactions and resolutions.
  • Participate in training and development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.
Requirements

  • Knowledge of billing and claims processes and procedures.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting or related field.
