Job Description:

As a Senior Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering key mandates for the Special Operations Team. This team is responsible for tackling time-sensitive and mission-critical operational imperatives head-on. Your special skills will enable you to efficiently relieve operational teams from capacity issues. You will also provide additional support for major periodic transitions.

This team reports directly to the Cebu Site Director, with Senior Managers as key stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include acting as immediate relief to DBS functions experiencing organizational capacity challenges, assisting in assessing proper resource planning, and executing activities that improve quality.

You will also assist in stabilizing operations, identify process improvements, and relay them to process managers. Additionally, you will perform periodic reviews of team capacity and utilization.

  • Acts as immediate relief to DBS functions who are experiencing organizational capacity challenges.
  • Assists the Senior Team Lead in assessing proper resource planning.
  • Assists the Managers/Sr Managers in executing activities that improves quality.
  • Assists in stabilizing the operations.
  • Identifies process improvement and relay to the process Managers.
  • Performs periodic review of team capacity and utilization.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accountancy; CPA highly desirable
  2. Minimum 5 years' experience in one or more of the end-to-end finance processes (AP, AR & GL, FA, Intercompany & Lease)
  3. At least 3+ years in the shared services model
  4. Previous experience in general accounting, with exposure to:
    • US GAAP and IFRS
    • Fixed Asset, Cash Management and Intercompany Accounting
  5. Experienced with major ERP Systems (i.e. SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  6. Proficiency using Microsoft Excel (i.e. basic to complex formulas, pivoting, graphs and charts, Macro Excel is a plus)
  7. Six-sigma trained is a plus.
  8. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Applications (including SharePoint and Web-based applications)
