The MHE (Material Handling Equipment) Operator plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of warehouses. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and reach trucks to support daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, and issuance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate forklifts and reach trucks safely and efficiently for all warehouse activities, adhering to established safety protocols and procedures.
  • Perform regular equipment inspections and submit maintenance reports to ensure optimal performance and prevent accidents.
  • Monitor and report any operational issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Handle inventory with care to prevent damage during receiving, put-away, and picking processes.
  • Store palletized stocks in designated storage areas based on warehouse management system instructions to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
  • Adhere to FIFO (First In, First Out) or FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principles in all picking and issuance processes to minimize waste and maximize product quality.
  • Participate in stocktaking, inventory checking, and other management or client-initiated activities to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with housekeeping standards to promote productivity and employee well-being.
  • Support warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, replenishment, and issuance transactions, to meet business objectives.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with coworkers and external parties to achieve common goals.
  • Adhere to company policies and QSHE guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Report incidents, near misses, or unsafe conditions promptly to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Comply with company integrity policies, including anti-bribery and whistleblower guidelines, to maintain a positive reputation and uphold industry standards.
Accountabilities
  • Achieve zero accidents during material handling operations by following safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with standard operating procedures to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
  • Complete daily equipment checklists and initiate preventive maintenance as required to prolong equipment lifespan and reduce downtime.
  • Maintain readiness and compliance for internal and external audits to demonstrate adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements:
At least college level
With NC II Certification (TESDA/DOLE)
3+ years experience operating forklift & reach truck

Skills Needed:
Certified MHE operator (counterbalance + reach truck)
Strong safety awareness and handling procedures
