Support a Risk Advisor in Insurance Operations

This role involves providing administrative support to a Risk Advisor, assisting with daily insurance operations, client documentation, and coordination tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer dedicated professional and administrative support to a Risk Advisor (Account Manager).
  • Assist in preparing insurance quotations, proposals, and renewal documents to facilitate client servicing.
  • Accurately process and input data into web-based insurance systems, CRMs, and editable PDFs.
  • Maintain and update client records and policy information in the CRM system.
  • Prepare and issue certificates of insurance as requested.
  • Gather and organize client data to prepare insurance policy applications and other supporting documentation.
  • Has knowledge of managing billing processes with both clients and insurance carriers.
  • Organize and track outstanding documentation, including policy subjectivities and compliance requirements.
  • Draft and send professional communications to clients, insurers, and other stakeholders on behalf of the Risk Advisor.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in the insurance industry (agency, brokerage, or carrier).
  • Familiarity with insurance terminology and processes.
  • Experience with insurance management systems or CRMs.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working closely with one Risk Advisor in a support-focused role.
  • Excitement to learn insurance concepts and go above and beyond.
Work Arrangement

This is a remote contractor position, 5 days a week, including one weekend day, but will have 2 days off in a row.

Working hours will be 9am - 6pm EST.
