Business Development Specialist

A leading company seeks an experienced Business Development Specialist to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with Australian companies, preferably within the ICT / Managed Services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, research, and qualify potential business opportunities within the ICT / Managed Services industry.
  • Build and maintain a database of qualified leads.
  • Conduct outreach through calls, emails, and other channels to engage prospects.
  • Set appointments for the sales team with qualified prospects.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to align lead generation strategies with business goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, leads, and communications in the CRM system.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in business development or a similar role.
  • Background working with Australian companies is required.
  • Experience in the ICT / Managed Services sector is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
  • Comfortable with outbound calling and appointment setting.
  • Proficient in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple leads and tasks simultaneously.
