Overview

The role of Technical Support Specialist is pivotal in ensuring seamless operations and timely resolution of customer requests.

Reporting to the MIS team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support to customers globally.

  • Escalate and resolve complex technical issues from Tier 1 Support efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Incident Management to address urgent incidents promptly.
  • Provide solutions for configuration issues and queries from customers.
  • Maintain proactive monitoring and alerting systems to prevent disruptions.
  • Work closely with other support teams and developers to resolve intricate challenges.
  • Support Tier 1 Support with training, documentation, and mentoring.
  • Develop runbooks by documenting solutions for recurring issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology advancements to provide top-notch support.

Requirements

We seek a skilled and dedicated individual who possesses:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience working in a production/application support role.
  • In-depth knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Familiarity with querying languages such as SQL, JQL, and LookML.
  • Proficiency with tools like New Relic, Sumologic, Jira, and Gitlab.
  • Automation skills using scripting tools like Postman and VS Code.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Ability to decipher error messages and stack traces.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based services including AWS.
  • Experience with RESTful JSON services is an asset.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
