This is a unique job opportunity as an Academic Advisor with our institution. The role entails providing academic guidance and support to students, ensuring they meet their academic requirements and progress towards graduation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality customer service and support to students and families.
  • Communicate important information to parents and guardians via email and phone.
  • Field incoming calls and respond to emails within 24 hours.
  • Advise students on course selections and schedule courses accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate contact logs and academic records for students.
  • Gather all academic records and create graduation check sheets.
  • Plan and organize orientations for new students.
  • Monitor and verify student data and residency changes.
  • Identify academic issues and make referrals.
  • Request course extensions for third-party courses.
  • Assist the Attendance Office and Child Accounting Office as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification (preferred)
  • Child Abuse Clearance; Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Clearance

Other Responsibilities:

  • Proctor PSSA and Keystone testing as needed.
