The Center for Reading Assessment and Intervention (CRAIN) is dedicated to raising learners to read with competence, ease, and joy. As a founding member of the Council of Reading Intervention Specialists (CORIS) in the Philippines, CRAIN upholds high standards and integrity in practice. The company provides one-on-one teaching through assessment-based individualized plans in a clinical setting. Services include reading assessment, reading intervention, beginning reading instruction, and academic writing programs. Teachers are highly trained reading clinicians, many of whom hold certificates in the Orton-Gillingham approach and are skilled at addressing various reading challenges.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Reading Intervention Specialist located in Muntinlupa City. The Reading Intervention Specialist will work one-on-one with students to deliver individualized reading plans based on assessment results. Daily tasks include conducting reading assessments, developing and implementing intervention strategies, and tracking student progress. The specialist will work closely with other educators and clinicians to ensure comprehensive support for each student's reading development.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Experience working with students with diverse reading challenges including dyslexia, ADHD, and autism
  • Formal training or certification in the Orton Gillingham approach is an advantage
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Psychology, or related field
