Electric Vehicle Project Coordinator

Overview:

As an Electric Vehicle Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining EV charger installation projects from start to finish. Your exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask will ensure seamless communication between internal teams, utility companies, permitting authorities, and clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with internal teams (drafters, consultants, and data-entry staff) to guarantee tasks are completed on schedule
  • Serve as the primary liaison with utility companies (e.g., electricity providers) and municipal permitting departments
  • Track permits, applications, and approvals, escalating delays when necessary to maintain project momentum
  • Prepare and review project documentation (service request forms, utility maps, permit packages)
  • Manage project timelines, dependencies, and deliverables in project management software (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Trello)
  • Verify installation readiness, including utility upgrades, permits, and material availability
  • Provide technical input leveraging your electrical knowledge to collaborate with engineers and inspectors
  • Communicate project status and timelines clearly with clients to foster trust and confidence

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in project coordination/management within electrical, construction, or utility sectors
  • Strong familiarity with electrical systems and ability to interpret one-line diagrams (no engineering license required)
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to navigate complex projects
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Trello) is highly desirable
