About the Role

Drive business growth and revenue for a leading financial institution by generating new trust business volume and income.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to solicit and open new trust accounts, promoting cross-selling of trust products in branches and other channels.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory updates on Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Prevention Program (MLPP) policies through regular seminars and circulars, adhering to these guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough Know-Your-Client (KYC) procedures and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) / Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for new account openings based on client risk profiles.
  • Design and implement short-term and long-term marketing plans that set the focus for the team's selling and marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with Product Development Officers to conceptualize, develop, and launch new trust products and services, ensuring continued growth in volume.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least three years of industry experience in a Marketing Officer capacity at a financial institution.
  • A deep understanding of various trust products and services, as well as governing regulations, along with familiarity with Portfolio Management and Financial Markets.
