Key Roles

The role of Right of Way Manager involves providing support to teams in acquiring permits, documents, lands and rights of lands for transmission structures and road right of way.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with technical, engineering, legal teams to identify potential routes that meet requirements.
  • Oversee commercial and legal risks throughout the acquisition process.
  • Manage the gathering of required documentation from landowners and government agencies.
  • Establish due diligence and financial close processes for property acquisitions.
  • Manage internal approvals and document control for property agreements.
  • Provide visibility on concerns to enable teams to create forward-moving plans.
  • Facilitate discussions with internal resources and cross-functional teams to identify risks presented in land documentation.

Essential Qualifications
  • Must hold a bachelor's degree in any related field.
  • At least one year of relevant experience in real estate, energy or legal functions.
  • At least one year of leadership experience.
  • At least two years of project experience, particularly in land acquisition or conversion.
  • Experienced in conducting due diligence, assessments and negotiations related to land acquisition and conversion.
  • Must have a solid understanding of contracts and their application in property transactions.
