
IT Support Specialist

As Atlas' front line for alerts and requests, this full-time contract position requires resolving issues related to user devices, circuit downs, temperature and water alerts, Cloud alerts, and SOC alerts.
The role involves communicating with vendors and customers as a point of contact, coordinating maintenance, after-hours repair, and patch remediation. It also demands developing and implementing processes to drive better outcomes and improve the NOC team's efficiency.
Maintaining knowledge base articles, new documentation, and content improvements is another key responsibility.
Responsibilities:- Resolve alerts and requests related to user devices, cloud technologies, network troubleshooting, and other IT-related issues.
- Communicate with vendors and customers; coordinate maintenance, after-hours repair, and patch remediation.
- Develop and implement processes to drive better outcomes and improve the NOC team's efficiency.
- Maintain knowledge base articles, new documentation, and content improvements.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows Desktop & Server OS; general familiarity with all currently-supported versions of Windows, with an emphasis on Desktop issues.
- Experience with cloud products and technologies such as Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint/OneDrive, Exchange Online, Amazon AWS.
- Knowledge of identity management, authorization, and security, including Azure AD, Okta.
- Familiarity with EMM/MDM tools, backups and disaster recovery, email technologies, and network protocols.
- Excellent communication skills, able to speak at a conversational English level, and 3+ years of general IT experience in server, infrastructure support, and networking/circuits.
Experience working in an MSP/Consultancy environment, knowledge of RMM tools, and certifications such as CompTIA A+, Server+, Network+ or similar are highly valued.
