Job Summary
We are seeking an accomplished Commercial Manager to spearhead the expansion of our digital insurance solutions in Southeast Asia. This role will involve strengthening relationships with existing partners, identifying new business opportunities, and driving commercial growth.
About the Role- This Commercial Manager will be responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for existing clients and partners, nurturing relationships to maximize satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
- The successful candidate will understand each partner's goals and collaborate closely with them to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding their use of Igloo's digital insurance solutions.
- This role requires close collaboration with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of Igloo's services and a positive partner experience.
- The Commercial Manager will regularly assess partner performance, providing insights and solutions to enhance their experience with Igloo's offerings and drive mutual growth.
- They will also lead renewal discussions and negotiate terms that support both partner objectives and Igloo's commercial goals.
- This position involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, focusing on strategic partnerships that align with Igloo's mission.
- The successful candidate will conduct market research to build a pipeline of potential partners who can benefit from Igloo's digital insurance solutions.
- Presentation of Igloo's product suite to prospective clients is crucial, demonstrating how solutions like device protection, extended warranties, and loan protection can add value to their business and customers.
- Collaboration with prospective partners is required to structure agreements and negotiate terms that create long-term value and growth for both parties.
- Staying informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving customer needs is essential to guide business development strategies.
- This Commercial Manager will collaborate closely with the Head of Commercial to align on commercial strategies that support both existing and new partnerships.
- Coordination with Igloo's product, operations, marketing, and finance teams is necessary to tailor solutions that meet partner requirements, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
- Engagement in cross-functional projects that enhance Igloo's ability to deliver seamless and effective insurance solutions across various markets is key.
- Facilitating smooth communication and project coordination between departments is vital to support partner onboarding and optimize ongoing account management.
- Tracking and evaluating performance across both account management and new business initiatives is critical, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies and decision-making.
- Preparing and delivering regular updates to the Head of Commercial, highlighting partnership growth, key achievements, challenges, and emerging opportunities is essential.
- Establishing and monitoring KPIs related to account management and business development ensures alignment with Igloo's broader commercial and strategic objectives.
